This is a demo/prototype for Incremental Empire, a short linear game about growing a civilization.

  • About 25-minutes of demo gameplay
  • Mostly a resource gathering incremental upgrade game, don't expect grand strategy or 4X elements
  • Currently 50 upgrades/techs available

Looking for feedback on:

  • Pacing - is it too fast or two slow in parts?
  • Is it satisfying/fun?
  • Is it intuitive? Are there any parts that were confusing?

Known issues:
- tile resources are partially occluded by hills
- Color grading very weird on web build
- Hill shader broken in web build...

Abnormally slow load (as someone else said), mine boost also slows the game down
Tiny bit annoyed the 'create city' thing does nothing even when hung in your face from the very start of the game

Kind of not really enough even for a demo to get an idea of the main actual premise of the game - as it stands it's a laggier and slightly jank round-based collector

It does take a couple of minutes. I will see what I can do about load times! What browser are you using?
